REGULATED MANUFACTURING LINE WITH HOLE DRILLING, COUNTERSINKING, THREADING OPERATIONS PERFORMED WITH THE AUTOMATION SYSTEM

Quality and productivity are among the most basic targets in production facilities. The production method of a product affects the production speed, production cost and product quality of that product. The process-specific design of automation systems, the execution of many processes within the system and the automatic control of the processes provide significant advantages in production speed, production cost and product quality. In this study, an automation production line designed that can drill one hole or two holes, countersink and tapping to the needs of the parts has been made. The design is a PLC controlled automation system that can M12 tapping operation for parts up to 15mm thick and up to a maximum size of 150mm X 150mm. The rotary table execution was used in the transfer of the part to be processed on the production line between stations. 12 parts holder slots are placed on this rotary table. In 8 stations, the part is processed to become a finished product. Parts are fed to the automation system with the vibration unit. Faulty parts as a result of tool breakage during drilling and threading and the length error of the products coming from the vibration unit are controlled by sensors and separated. In this automation system design, the processes carried out with more than one personnel on different machines are designed to be gathered together and it is ensured that they work under the control of one personnel.
